The civil works to land the East Micronesia Cable (EMC) in Kosrae state continue to make great progress

The civil works to land the East Micronesia Cable (EMC) in Kosrae state continue to make great progress. Supported by Australia, the US and Japan, the EMC will provide the first international submarine cable connection for Kosrae, providing faster, more reliable and higher quality telecommunications connectivity for the state.

Kosrae Governor Tulensa W. Palik and Australian Ambassador Jenny Grant-Curnow visited the beach manhole site together with TCC consultant Mr Jolden Johnnyboy to monitor the progress of the works undertaken. The project is on schedule for completion by December 2025.
